I find children one of the easiest of subjects to photograph. My methods are, and without exception, to have them in very natural situations with the minimum of "clobber" around I do not use a tripod, it gets in the way. Daylight is far better than any other form of lighting, however next best thing is bounced lighting. In colour you have to be careful of " colour casts"
