Talk to children about anything and they will respond to a vast number of subjects the rest is easy.

Young men like older men can be self conscious  when photographed. One has to appeal to curiosity and conversation is important.

Girls on the other hand are flirts from the time of the cradle. 

It is difficult task to achieve pictures of children in a large family. The problem is you can get one right and the others can look awful. 

I have found the best way is to split them. 

 Self consciousness is then avoided.
